La deuxième partie est consacrée au droit du marché : lutte contre la concurrence déloyale, protection des droits de propriété intellectuelle, interdiction des ententes et des abus de position dominante, contrôle des concentrations.
La troisième partie de l'ouvrage étudie les règles applicables à la distribution : intermédiaires du commerce, relations entre producteurs et grande distribution, constitution des réseaux de distribution exclusive, de distribution sélective ou de franchise.
Ce manuel traite des règles issues de l'Union européenne : traité de Lisbonne, directives et règlements de l'Union, documents de soft law et jurisprudence de la Cour de justice.
