This volume contains the proceedings of the 17th International Workshop on Textual Studies (2024), which focused on the stemmatics of Spanish Golden Age literary texts. The invited scholars addressed the transmission of dramatic, poetic and narrative works, aiming not only at presenting significant case studies but, above all, at reflecting on the theoretical and methodological implications of their work. The advantages and limitations of Lachmanns method have been investigated both in manuscript and printed circulations, in works transmitted individually or in codices and miscellaneous prints (Partes de comedias, cancioneros, and collections of novelle).
