Il volume analizza in modo chiaro e completo la materia del diritto internazionale privato, oggi divenuta particolarmente complessa in quanto articolata su un triplice livello di fonti: interno, convenzionale e unionale.
L’opera esamina gli istituti forniti di rilevanza internazionalprivatistica, individuati in base alle tradizionali categorie giuridiche (persone, famiglia, obbligazioni, contratti, successioni, etc.), secondo una visione d’insieme, trattando cioè, per ciascuna materia, i tre profili della legge applicabile, della giurisdizione e del riconoscimento degli atti e dei provvedimenti stranieri, così da facilitarne la comprensione unitaria ed evidenziarne le reciproche correlazioni.
Questo lavoro, che riserva attenzione tanto ai problemi teorici quanto alle applicazioni teoriche, è frutto di una passione condivisa degli Autori per il diritto internazionale privato, nata ai tempi dell’università e poi consolidatasi sia nella didattica che nell’esperienza professionale.
